Kaiyukan Aquarium scuba divers to spot 'setsubun'

Divers ready to go up similar to "oni" (ogres or trolls from Japanese folklore) will be looming at Kaiyukan Aquarium in Minato Ward, Osaka, from Saturday to Feb. 3.

The special eventuality outlines the day of "setsubun," literally the section between seasons. It often refers to the commencement of spring and falls on Feb. 3. Manga notable relic explores the humanities and the public

The Kyoto International Manga Museum will horde a public conference on the utility of the humanities in the public at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 22 in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto.

The symposium, patrician "On the Social Uses of Art," will be in two parts. Concert, harangue on Mongolian low-pitched instrument

A Mongolian "morin khuur" unison and harangue will be hold from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 28 in Nagata Ward, Kobe.

The morin khuur is a normal Mongolian arched stringed instrument. For this event, Chun Lan, a morin khuur musician who before complicated Japanese and song at Kobe University, will give a harangue on the instrument's characteristics and fool around a few tunes. There will be a hands-on session where participants can try out the instrument. The eventuality will be in Japanese.

Twenty people will be agreedon a first-come, first-served basis. Please call the organizer initial to examine for availability.
